DESCRIPTIONMichael Baker International is looking for a dynamic Project Coordinator to join our National Federal Planning Practice. In this role, you'll play a key part in supporting high-profile projects for federal clients-including the Army, Air Force, Navy, and U.S. Marine Corps. You'll interface with a passionate team of planners and project managers, contribute to meaningful work that shapes military installations and communities, and grow your career in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Project Support
- Provide day-to-day administrative and organizational support to project teams.
- Help plan, track, and update project schedules, action items, and key milestones.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and follow up on assigned tasks.
- Maintain project documentation, files, and reporting tools to ensure information is accurate and up to date.
- Support communication among team members, stakeholders, and clients to keep projects moving forward.
Proposal Support
- Coordinate proposal schedules, deadlines, and internal reviews to support on-time submission.
- Assist with compiling proposal content, including resumes, project descriptions, and required forms.
- Support proposal production by formatting documents, creating templates, and preparing final files for submission.
- Perform QA/QC on proposal documents for formatting, branding, compliance, and overall consistency.
- Help track action items and coordinate input from technical staff, project managers, and leadership.
Practice Support
- Support cross - practice communication by coordinating information sharing, standardizing processes, and supporting alignment across teams.
- Provide operational support for federal contract administration, including post - award setup, documentation tracking, and invoicing coordination.
- Support activities such as conference preparation, award submissions, and other external communications and recognition efforts.
Professional Requirements: - Minimum of 3 years of experience providing administrative support to consulting teams.
- Excellent communication skills and strong computer skills.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint).
- Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience within the A/E/C or Federal Planning industries is preferable.
- This role requires U.S. Citizenship.
COMPENSATIONThe range for this role is $75, 000 - $88, 000; this will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.
Workplace FlexibilityThis position is located in Moon Township, PA with a Hybrid (2-3 days weekly) in office.
