SUMMARYUnder direct supervision, assist senior personnel with the planning, design, and analysis of facility (building) HVAC and plumbing engineering projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES - Uses computer assisted engineering and design software such as Revit to perform engineering tasks
- Energy modeling including Trane Trace model setup and load calculations
- Rough layouts of piping and ductwork plans
- Perform calculations for equipment selections such as fans, pumps and air handling units
- Summarize submittals and contractor Requests for Information for review
- Minor LEED template work including entering information on the LEED website and tabulating values in external spreadsheets
- Limited travel may be required
- Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTIES EXPERIENCE EDUCATION - BS in Architectural Engineering-Mechanical Option or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
LICENSES COMPENSATIONThe compensation range for this position is $67, 470-$88, 662 and will be dependent on the incoming skills and experience of the candidate.
