1. Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures

2. Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines; monitor

and maintain quality standards

3. Increase overall productivity to meet customer requirements

4. Identify and implement process improvements & increased productivity opportunities

5. Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance

6. Coordinate all the shipping activities of the department

7. On a day-to-day basis lead first shift personnel to ensure all jobs are ready to ship by end of day and

prior to departure

8. Give instructions and create schedules for second and third shifts, so work is prepared overnight to ship

or deliver next day and to monitor the associates for work done and efficiencies

9. Monitor overnight crew's work flow to assure all work that is scheduled is being done accurately and

properly to customer standards and our SOPs

10. Assign deliveries to PPS York fleet, maintaining efficiency by ganging runs together

11. Maintain shipping supplies and order through Area Manager for procurement

12. Provide backup to shipping/receiving and warehouse personnel as needed

13. Be available as a backup to shipping clerk for the FedEx Café System and the UPS World Ship

14. Assist the Area Manager in monitoring the shipping clerk for accuracy of the overnight FedEx and UPS

packages

15. Receive all purchase orders incoming on a daily basis from FedEx and UPS

16. Be certified in operation of Power Industrial Equipment (PIT) Class 1, 3, & 4

17. Ensure all shipping associates are following Preventive Maintenance schedule per shift of PIT

18. Oversee freight program and policies
