Essential Job Functions

The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.

• Repair and troubleshoot production equipment

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment

• Assist in the set-up and tear down of production lines

• Promote a safe work environment

• Inside and outside building maintenance

• Willing to work overtime and/or weekends as requested by Maintenance Supervisor/Manager

Responsible for following and complying with Company GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices) and maintaining quality work and product

Education & Experience

High School Degree or Equivalent and/or three or more years of experience in Maintenance

Electrical, mechanical and hydraulics knowledge required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Mechanical aptitude Must be able to multi-task and prioritize workload

Effective interpersonal skills, including listening

Attributes desired include being self-motivated, assertive, self-starter, problem-solver and results driven

Machines, Tools, Instruments, Equipment and Materials Used:

PLC and Drive Controller

Equipment skills desired: knowledge of shrink wrap equipment, balers, heat tunnels, printers, glue machines, conveyors, carton sealer, stretch wrapper

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Must be able to stand, bend, walk, and carry items weighing 50+ lbs. regularly
