This position reports into Packaging Supervisor and is based at Fort Washington, PA.

What you will do

The Manufacturing Associate I is responsible for operating production equipment to produce subassemblies or finished products, interpreting instructions and specifications to set up equipment, and ensuring products are properly assembled and defects are removed:

Key Responsibilities

Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures
  • Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment
  • Collaborate with production team to operate manufacturing equipment and produce subassemblies or finished products according to specifications
  • Ensure all products on assembly line are properly assembled and remove defective products
  • Clean and maintain equipment as needed, and notify supervisor of maintenance and repairs
  • Prepare accurate records/documentation related to quality and work in progress
  • Troubleshoot minor production problems to ensure smooth operations
  • This is to work on either day shift or night shift- hours 6: 00am-6pm or 6pm-6am. This is a 2-2-3 rotation schedule


What we are looking for

Required Qualifications
  • High School/Secondary Education or Equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Proven working experience in manufacturing or production environment for 2-4 years
  • Experience with operating production equipment and interpreting instructions and specifications

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and follow all quality and safety guidelines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot production problems
