Purpose:
The Associate Director of Integrated Analytics & Market Research - Immunology position is primarily responsible for leading the integration and execution of research and analytics projects to generate new business insights and uncover growth opportunities for the Integrated Account Team within J& J Innovative Medicine’s Immunology business unit. This position will serve as an internal consultant to marketing, sales, senior leaders, and broader business partners: delivering business building recommendations, shaping decision-making, and driving organizational action. The position plays a key role in guiding the commercial team in the development and evaluation of business strategies and tactics, sharing accountability for business results.
This individual must have outstanding leadership skills, a consistent track record to lead collaboration across teams, navigate through ambiguity, inspire without authority, and encourage sensible risk-taking. They will have the tenacity and fortitude to pursue novel solutions and analytics that address the needs of patients. They will be personally accountable for making Johnson & Johnson Credo-based decisions and encouraging a Credo-based culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, design and execute analytics & market research which inform marketing and sales strategy and tactics.
Leverage disparate data sources to address key business questions and uncover business opportunities.
Determine optimal analytic & research approaches and statistical methods, identify appropriate supplier partners, foster strong partnerships in the context of resources, timing, innovation, and overall project goals.
Develop new insights and actionable recommendations and, through effective storytelling and communication, influence business partners at all levels to incorporate in decision making.
Collaborate across Immunology therapeutic area teams to ensure seamless integration of analytics and insights to evaluate business performance and impact of marketing and sales tactics.
Ensure timely tracking of key performance drivers across key data sources to evaluate competitive landscape, risk & opportunities
Exhibit strong partnership in the development of designs for and execution of Sales Optimization, Targeting and Call Plan, Field Reporting, and Incentive Compensation Strategy & Design.
Drive a culture of simplicity to ensure business processes are streamlined and partners are provided clear insights that translate to action
Inspire and support peers to act with speed, agility and accountability enabling them to achieve excellence
Demonstrate leadership courage to set boundaries and ensure time is spent on the most critical/ high value projects

Qualifications / Requirements:
Education:
BA/BS is the minimum requirement; advanced degree is desirable
Experience and Skills
Required:
Minimum of 7 years of relevant business experience in marketing, finance, analytics, management consulting or related field team experience
The ability to work in the Horsham, PA location 3 days a week and travel domestically up to 10%.
Current or previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry, including knowledge of pharmaceutical industry datasets.
High degree of collaboration, intellectual curiosity and demonstrated track record for independently solving complex and ambiguous problems.
Experience in developing comprehensive and impactful recommendations and solutions that drive key decisions through effective storytelling and communication; serving as a strategic advisor to business partners and leaders.
Preferred:
Proven success partnering across a commercial organization to integrate analytics, market research, and insights and then translate into actionable recommendations.
Knowledge across a broad spectrum of research and analytic approaches, statistical techniques, and ability to identify appropriate approach(es) to address key business questions.
Fluency in Tableau or PowerBI, as well as SAS, SQL, or Dataiku to work with large datasets in J& J Innovative Medicine CDP.
Immunology therapeutic area experience preferred but not required.
