Job Description: In this role, the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker will help each consumer reach a maximum level of self-sufficiency through individualized interventions as well as the support of an overall therapeutic milieu. Interventions are based on service plans developed collaboratively with individual consumers.
Schedule: Full-Time (Monday through Friday, 8: 30 am - 4: 30 pm)
Location: Wyomissing, PA
Program: Mobile Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program
Pay Rate: $18.00 /hour (depending on experience)
What You'll Do - Provide recovery‑oriented psychiatric rehabilitation services based on individualized service plans
- Support consumers with daily living skills, medication education, budgeting, self‑care, and supportive counseling
- Maintain a small caseload (4-5 consumers) while promoting independence and personal growth
- Accompany consumers to medical appointments and complete daily van runs
- Administer medications in accordance with DPW standards
- Respond appropriately to crisis situations and support healthy relationships
- Complete required documentation and maintain compliance with 2600 regulations
- Collaborate with program staff while working independently as needed
- Assist with light housekeeping, meals, and other hands‑on support as required
What You'll Bring Education & Experience - High School Diploma or Associate's Degree with at least 1 year of experience in a human services‑related field
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
Required Clearances & Qualifications - PA Criminal Clearance
- PA Child Abuse Clearance (if applicable)
- FBI Fingerprint Clearance
- Valid Driver's License
- Not listed on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion lists
