Clinical Supervisor

Summary The primary purpose of this position is to provide treatment direction for substance abuse clients; to select and maintain adequate clinical staff to meet regulatory and licensing regulations; to assess clinical programs; and to provide administrative oversight of the facility. This position works closely with the Corporate Clinical Director. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The position duties and responsibilities listed below describe the general nature and scope of work. Other responsibilities, duties and skills may be required and assigned, as needed. Assures program compliance with DDAP and all other regulatory agencies.Assists in the creation and implementation of all clinical programming.Assists in the development of all clinical staff training programs.Monitors quality of program and performance of clinical treatment team through chart reviews, audits of lectures and groups, patient care monitoring and utilization review activities.Meets daily with Utilization Review team to discuss issues, coordinate delivery of quality care and monitor morale. Prepares clinical staff schedules and rosters to assure twenty four hour coverage daily. Coordinates a comprehensive treatment team model that is in compliance with state license and applicable standards.Oversees the policies and procedures for treatment planning, documentation, discharge planning and delivery of services.Participates as an active member of assigned committees.Performs other duties as assigned.
