Roles and Responsibilities Bring professional civil engineering experience with demonstrated experience in land development and NPDES permitting.Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring Entech consistently understands and responds to their needs.Manage civil engineering projects from inception through closeout in accordance with Entechs project management procedures.Develop scopes of work, proposals, and qualification packages in collaboration with technical and business development teams.Lead and coordinate internal project teams while monitoring performance against established schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations.Schedule and lead client and project milestone meetings to maintain alignment and proactively address project needs.Identify opportunities to expand services with existing clients and develop new client relationships while working toward established business development goals.Maintain and grow a strong professional network within Entechs municipal, energy, institutional, commercial, and industrial markets.Coordinate with the Marketing Team to maintain accurate client, opportunity, and business development information within the CRM system.Represent Entech at industry conferences, trade shows, networking events, and professional organizations, as appropriate.Present plans and represent Entech before municipalities and other jurisdictions having authority, as project needs require; recurring monthly evening meeting attendance is not required.Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and QA/QC oversight to project teams as appropriate.Support technical project activities when necessary, including concept development and review of key deliverables, while maintaining primary emphasis on client and project leadership.Work closely with senior leadership as part of Entechs succession planning initiative, progressively assuming greater responsibility for established client relationships and contributing to the strategic growth of the Civil Engineering practice. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices, particularly as they relate to land development and infrastructure projects.Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to build trust, understand client needs, and develop long-term partnerships.Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, technical teams, leadership, and public agencies.Strong leadership and team-building skills, including the ability to mentor, motivate, and support developing professionals.Knowledge of project management principles, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and multidisciplinary coordination.Ability to develop effective scopes of work, project approaches, schedules, deliverables, and fee estimates.Strong business development and networking skills, with the ability to recognize opportunities to expand existing relationships and develop new business.Ability to recognize out-of-scope requests, evaluate their impact, and effectively communicate solutions to clients and project teams.Strong organizational, problem-solving, decision-making, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple engineering disciplines and client markets and connect client needs with appropriate technical resources.Familiarity with modern engineering technologies, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and emerging AI-enabled tools.Ability to effectively use CRM and related business systems to support client relationship and business development activities.
