Stamper Grinder Machine Operator to join our team and play a key part in our facility's operations!
Shift: 1st Shift (Monday through Friday)
Hours: 6: 45 AM - 3: 00 PM
Pay Range: $18-$21/ hr, based on experience
Shift: 2nd Shift (Monday through Friday)
Hours: 2: 45 PM - 11: 00 PM
Pay Range: $18-$21/ hr, based on experience
Shift Differential: $0.75/ hr
Shift: Mon-Fri, 3 rd -Shift (Workweek begins Sunday evening)
Hours: 10: 45 PM - 7: 00 AM
Pay Range: $18-$21/ hr, based on experience
Shift Differential: $0.75/ hr

- Setup, operate, troubleshoot, adjust settings, and maintain machinery processes while ensuring a quality output
- Conduct visual inspections of machinery and perform general preventive maintenance
- Perform necessary documentation, data entry, and inventory
- Operate a forklift to move and transport materials as needed
- Communicate changes in production and/or quality to department lead, and submit work orders to maintenance team when necessary
- Training & Cross-Training:
- Participate in regular training sessions and cross train into other job functions providing assistance to other departments when needed
- Cross train others to enhance team capabilities
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High school diploma, GED, or 4+ years of experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment a plus
- Proven ability to multitask in a stressful environment (dirty, confined spaces, strict timelines, etc.), attention to detail, and adapt to changing demands
- Forklift experience a plus
- Ability to read and understand units of measure and perform basic math functions
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Job Summary: This position is responsible for the overall operation of the Stamper Grinder and supplying good, quality product with the ability to meet deadlines in a safe manner. Additional responsibilities will include: operation of the Water Jet & Sander, assistance with creating SOP and other production related documentation, inventory data-entry and cross-training into other job functions as needed. This position requires routine attendance to departmental, production, safety and Company meetings.

Operate Stamper Grinder machine with minimal supervision by:
• Coordinate with Material Handler for setup of material to be stamped/ground
• Conduct a visual inspection and perform general preventive maintenance of the Stamper Grinder area, tools and equipment
• Review order for proper sizing
• Place required die board on machine
• Setup stamping as required for order
• Power on and run machine for production
• Remove excess/scrap border from material and discard into regrind bin
• Remove die cut materials from press
• Stamp as required per order
• Stack in container according to size and alternating ink
• Enter/review data for order and label appropriately
• Coordinate with Material Handler for removal of finished skids

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: - High School Diploma/GED required
- English fluency (read, write, speak)
- 6 months forklift experience required
- Previous experience operating a machine within department required
- Proven ability to multitask in a stressful environment (dirty, confined spaces, strict timelines, etc.), attention to detail, and adapt to changing demands
- Read and understand units of measure
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Demonstrated comfort with data entry and basic computer skills; ERP experience preferred
- Must be safety conscious and carry out work responsibilities in a safe manner
- Must be able to work overtime to meet operational requirements
- Able to safely perform related physical requirements/demands of the role
- Ability to obtain ISO Certificate of Training within first 4 weeks of employment
Work Environment:

- Manufacturing Environment: This position may operate in a manufacturing setting with conditions of high-pressure air/steam/gas, hazardous gas/chemical fumes, extreme heat and temperature variations, loud noise, exposure to dangerous machinery, dirty work environment and/or exposure to dust (pigment) . The position is required to wear PPE including, but not limited to safety glasses, steel toe/composite boots and earplugs.
