2nd shift

We're seeking a Peeler Operator to join a two-person team responsible for operating peeling equipment and producing high-quality material to precise specifications. This role involves machine operation, demolding, cutting to exact length and thickness, and safe handling of materials using hoist cranes and forklifts. What You'll Do:
  • Work as part of a two-person team (Operator and Assistant) to run peeling equipment.
  • Demold products and cut material to precise length and thickness according to production requirements.
  • Operate hoist crane and forklift to move raw materials and finished goods safely.
  • Perform visual inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area; report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Follow all safety and quality guidelines throughout the process.
  • Use computer systems for data entry and reviewing work orders.
  • Assist with SOP creation, inventory entry, and cross-training in other roles.
What We're Looking For:
  • High School Diploma/GED or 4+ years of machine operator/manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Forklift certification/experience preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing experience a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict specifications.
  • Basic math and computer skills; ERP experience preferred.
  • Safety-conscious and willing to work overtime as needed
Work Environment:
  • Manufacturing setting with exposure to heat, noise, dust, and machinery.
  • PPE required (safety glasses, steel-toe boots, ear protection).
  • Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the facility.
