The ERP Application Specialist is a key member of the IT team and works cross‑functionally with business partners to deliver stable, secure, and scalable application solutions. This role supports, maintains, and enhances the company's ERP and related applications to enable day‑to‑day operations, business growth, and long‑term transformation.

The ERP Application Specialist designs and supports optimized solutions that align with company standards, security requirements, and best practices. This individual also supports integrations between applications and plays an active role in system health, upgrades, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
  • Execute ERP and application initiatives aligned to the enterprise application roadmap
  • Participate in ERP upgrades and updates, supporting related planning, testing, and deployment activities
  • Configure, develop, test, and support ERP enhancements including BAQs, BPMs, dashboards, reports, and screen customizations
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve ERP and application issues reported by end users
  • Document and track incidents and service requests, ensuring timely and service‑oriented resolution
  • Create and maintain application, process, and user documentation
  • Plan and deliver user training sessions and develop training materials
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to analyze requirements and implement effective solutions
  • Support application services in alignment with ITIL and service management practices
  • Participate in change management and change control processes
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors in alignment with IT Supplier Management Office policies
  • Monitor application performance and respond appropriately to system alerts
  • Support business initiatives and projects that enable organizational growth
  • Ensure safety, security, and quality standards are maintained across all application services
  • Build strong working relationships across the organization and actively engage in mentorship and collaborative team practices
Qualifications

Education & Experience
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of ERP and/or enterprise application support experience
  • Epicor ERP experience strongly preferred

Technical Skills
  • Experience developing and maintaining BAQs, BPMs, dashboards, reports, and screen customizations
  • Proficiency with SQL and working knowledge of #, Java, or PowerShell
  • Experience with SSRS and/or Crystal Reports
  • Familiarity with relational databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with Visual Studio, Microsoft 365, and Azure preferred
  • Understanding of application development lifecycle principles and system testing practices
  • Knowledge of IT security protocols and digital privacy standards

  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles is a plus
