Material Handler

Excellent Career Growth Opportunities The Material Handler is responsible for coordinating, moving, and staging raw materials and essential supplies in the appropriate areas of the production floor. This role helps keep materials available for production while maintaining a clean, organized work area and following all company and environmental, health, and safety procedures. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety conscious, and able to communicate effectively with coworkers. They can follow established procedures, work well with the production team, and cross-train to support other areas as needed. Responsibilities Coordinate and stage copper, reels, pallets, and other materials in the appropriate production areas to support manufacturing needs. Inspect forklifts and other material handling equipment, and maintain required inspection records. Load and unload trucks, and store supplies on warehouse pallet racks. Follow company policies and procedures to support product quality and safe operations. Keep work areas clean and organized. Communicate with team members and assist with cross-training as needed. Requirements High school diploma or GED required; additional education or training is a plus. Ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions. Basic math skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to safely operate material handling and packaging equipment. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
