Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION The Direct Bill Manager is responsible for oversight of the billing teams, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and providing support to the billing and collection team supervisors.
Responsibilities include enhancing the billing and collection processes by identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities. This role includes providing performance feedback and communicating results to billing & collections leadership.
Responsibilities: - Manage the Direct Bill teams to ensure effective support for billing and collection supervisors.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the billing and collection workflows.
- Implement strategies to enhance efficiency and accuracy in billing and collections.
- Responsible for ensuring workflow and standard operating procedure documentation is accurate and teams are in adherance.
- Ensure teams are trained and cross trained to provide coverage of all processes for planned and unplanned absences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address billing-related issues and improve customer satisfaction.
- Monitor team performance and provide guidance and training to team members.
- Develop and maintain metrics to measure the effectiveness of billing and collection processes.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of billing practices to identify areas for improvement.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the billing team.
