JOB DESCRIPTION

Deputy Head - Global FP& A

Relationship & Scope:

The Deputy Head of Global FP& A will report to the VP Head of Global FP& A and is a pivotal team member of the Finance unit. The role will interact with a diverse group of business leaders across the globe and functional leaders including the CFO, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Investor Relations and Global Operations and Technology. The role involves meaningful interaction with the Chief Accounting Officer. This role provides the opportunity to view Chubb's results and strategic planning from the Corporate lens which supports both internal business units and external customers including the analyst community and PwC.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage the consolidation and review of monthly reporting and analysis.
  • Manage the consolidation and analysis of the 5 year strategic plan and annual plan, which includes reviewing and challenging the information received from businesses.
  • Assist with earnings call preparation.
  • Drive enhancements to monthly/quarterly Senior Management reporting including more robust analytics and data visualization.
  • Prepare key management presentations and supporting schedules.
  • Lead projects that will improve departmental efficiency and performance.
  • Prepare any ad hoc reporting requests.
  • Focus on process, including automation, elimination of unnecessary tasks to enable increasing focus on business analysis.
  • Provide off business hours flexibility to accommodate time sensitive requests from senior management.
  • Manage a team of two.
