Overview:

At the Barber National Institute, we’re making dreams come true. We support children and adults with autism, intellectual disabilities, and behavioral health challenges by providing education, resources, and compassionate care. As a Food Service Aide, you’ll play a key role in creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our students and staff. We are looking to fill a part - time Food Aide, M-F from 7: 30-2: 30.

What You’ll Have:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license (required)
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs with assistance
• Comfort working in a school setting with light to medium physical demands
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices

A Typical Day May Include:

• Driving to sponsor sites to pick up and deliver meals
• Assisting with food prep and serving meals to students and staff
• Cleaning dishes, utensils, and dining areas
• Stocking supplies and maintaining inventory
• Following health and safety guidelines from the PA Department of Health
• Supporting students with physical or behavioral needs as required
