Description:

The Certified Investigator plays a vital role in ensuring compliance with the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) Incident Management Bulletin and Performance-Based Contracting Metrics. This role is responsible for conducting thorough, timely, and professional investigations while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity. We are actively recruiting for two individuals for this position out of our Erie and Philadelphia locations.

  • Proficiency in communication, both written and verbal.
  • Competence with Microsoft Office Suite and related technology.
  • A commitment to handling sensitive information with discretion and care.

What you’ll need:

  • An associate’s degree in a human services-related field.
  • Experience in the intellectual/developmental disabilities field (preferred).
  • Current ODP Certified Investigator certification or the ability to obtain certification within three months of hire.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Pre-hire Clearances: State Police Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Clearance (if you have not lived in PA for the past 2 years).

A typical day-to-day may include:

  • Conducting investigations in alignment with ODP guidelines and Performance-Based Contracting Metrics.
  • Maintaining Certified Investigator certification and access to the Enterprise Incident Management (EIM) system.
  • Completing investigation packets and documentation in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Providing initial investigation interviews to the Administrative Review team promptly.
  • Attending meetings and completing required training.
  • Handling all investigations with professionalism, care, and a person-centered approach.
