About the Role:

As a part of the Core Enterprise Computing team, the Security Engineer role will focus on solutions engineering, technical guidance, and administration to support our vulnerability management program & identity and access program. These responsibilities will include improving and expanding vulnerability management tooling, reviewing and improving security posture for identity, and managing security tools.

Major activities/Key challenges:

  • Evaluate vulnerability management initiatives, including expanding our capabilities to identify security risks.
  • Continuously assess and enhance the security posture of identity and access management systems, ensuring robust configurations and compliance with industry standards.
  • Ensure our security tools and solutions up to date, leveraging the latest supported versions and industry advancements.
  • Collaborate with other teams to design, implement, and optimize security solutions.
  • Test new technologies and processes, both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to resolve complex identity and security related customer issues and requests, delivering exceptional service and support.
  • Provide clear project updates to customers and maintain accurate records in project tracking tools.
  • Achieve impactful results which provide increased value to the company with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and ownership.

Essential Knowledge & Skills/Education

  • Advanced proficiency in vulnerability scanning and management tools.
  • Experience working with Privileged Identity Management & Privileged Access Management tooling, such as Entra, CyberArk, BeyondTrust.
  • Working knowledge for identity security solutions, encryption products, server workload microsegmentation.

Basic or Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, math, IT or related subject, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing systems in a large-scale enterprise IT environment.
  • At least 3 years implementing shared infrastructure, platforms, or applications architecture.
  • Strong communication skills, able to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and integrate feedback professionally.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, deliver high-quality results, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Scripting and automation proficiency using PowerShell, Python or other relevant languages.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
