About the Role

The Drilling Program Planning & Execution Manager will be responsible for regional geological exploration.

This role requires a skilled Geologist with a strong background in mineral research and a proven track record of achieving high rates of measured and indicated resources. The manager will work closely with land management and other support areas to ensure the successful implementation of drilling programs.

You will achieve this by:

  • Plan and execute drilling programs to support mineral research and resource development.

  • Ensure the achievement of high rates of measured and indicated resources (80% rate).

  • Collaborate closely with land management to secure necessary permits and access for drilling activities.

  • Coordinate with other support areas, including Permits and Legal Advisory, Communities Support, EHS, and HR, to ensure compliance with regulations and community engagement.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to the drilling team, ensuring the use of best practices and innovative techniques.

  • Monitor and report on the progress of drilling programs, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.

  • Foster a culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement within the drilling team.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of drilling activities and results.

What you can bring to the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Postgraduate studies in Mineral Exploration is a plus.

  • Proven experience in geological exploration management.

  • Strong leadership profile.

  • Experience in mineral research and drilling program management.

  • Strong knowledge of drilling techniques, mineral research methodologies, and resource estimation.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools for geological modeling and resource management.

  • Fluency in Portuguese and English.

  • Location: Santarém, Pará – Brazil
