Deli Attendant

As a Deli Attendant, you will play a key role in daily Marketplace services, ensuring a welcoming and high-quality shopping experience. You will follow all safety, sanitation, and food service guidelines while upholding department standards and Willamette View's mission of "Inspiring the Art of Living Well." Your responsibilities will include counter service and sale of deli foods, bakery and grocery items, preparing barista coffee items promptly and accurately, and assisting with the preparation, assembly, and presentation of deli and grab-and-go food items while following recipes, safe food handling practices, and quality standards. You will ensure adherence to holding temperatures, maintain cleanliness, care for equipment and supplies, minimize waste, and handle multiple types of monetary transactions properly using the team's Point of Sale ("POS") system. Duties also include performing opening and closing procedures, assisting in the creation and execution of Marketplace displays and holiday décor, stocking and organizing grocery items and Marketplace shelves, rotating stock, and working collaboratively with team members to anticipate needs, assist co-workers, and provide exceptional service to residents, guests, and staff. Additionally, you will uphold attendance, hygiene, and safety standards and follow department procedures. Your dedication will help create a positive and efficient Marketplace experience for everyone.
