About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medication Technician to join our Memory Care team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting residents with memory impairments by safely administering medications and assisting with daily care needs in a warm, person-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications in accordance with physician orders and state regulations.
  • Accurately document medication administration and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Monitor residents for side effects or changes in condition and report to nursing staff.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and secure medication storage area.
  • Assist with ordering, receiving, and storing medications.
  • Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
  • Foster a positive and respectful environment for residents, families, and team members.
  • Participate in training, audits, and inspections as required.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Current Medication Technician certification (or equivalent) as required by state regulations.
  • Previous experience in memory care or assisted living preferred.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable demeanor.
