We are seeking a knowledgeable Workday Reporting Administrator to join our Information Technology team. The Administrator should have expertise in crafting and refining Workday reports to support our HCM business. This role requires a deep understanding of Workday reporting including advanced, matrix, composite reports, building dashboards, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with various partners to ensure the accuracy of critical data to deliver insights to HR and business end users.
This role will collaborate with HR and multi-functional teams to ensure that Workday reports align with HRIS strategy and the overall company reporting goals.
Responsibilities: - Work with partners to understand requirements and make recommendations on standard process approach to meet reporting needs
- Develop, design, test and implement all reports within the HCM Workday platform
- Experience and expertise in building advanced, matrix and composite reports, and dashboards
- Sophisticated knowledge of calculated fields and standard processes for crafting and maintaining
- Serves as the main point of contact for Workday report requests, inquiries and issues from HR team members and leaders
- Evaluate HCM data to ensure accuracy and optimization of system efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users and administrators on reporting standard methodologies within Workday, assist report writers within the business in making minor changes to update reports
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of reporting creation, requirements, policies, and procedures
- Participate in the planning and execution of Workday updates and releases, focusing on impact to reporting
- Document and track reporting issues identified during testing, ensuring they are resolved prior to production deployment
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, , Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 4+ years proven experience working hands on with Workday HCM in advanced report writing and dashboards.
- Solid grasp of Workday advanced reporting including matrix, advanced and composite reports
- Experience in release management and testing processes within Workday or similar platforms
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze sophisticated data analysis requirements and develop effective solutions.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to ensure efficient solutions and data accuracy
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate optimally with multi-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to run multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Workday Pro Certification in Reporting, preferred
