As an
Alignment Specialist, you will ensure that all educational resources, materials, and strategies are developed and maintained in alignment with state, national, and programmatic standards, including licensing, QRIS, public pre-k, and accreditation. You will be responsible for tracking and monitoring alignments, in addition to completing curriculum alignment frameworks as required.
You will serve as an advisor and consultant regarding the educational components required to ensure alignment and compliance for future opportunities. This role is a key member of the Resource & Educator Development team and works collaboratively within the larger Education team and across other departments.
Requirements: - Project manage and track educational alignment initiatives from launch to completion, monitoring timelines and renewals as required.
- Knowledgeable on all educational products and tools used and how they meet requirements outlined by local, state, and federal regulators. Advise on the use of these products/tools as needed.
- Research, organize, and write high-quality, inclusive educational resources and tools.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and represent the Resource & Educator Development team in corporate initiatives.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and innovative thinking.
- Report on timelines and results to the Director, Resource & Educator Development.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a directly related field.
- Expertise in early childhood curriculum, training, and quality improvement initiatives at the program and/or policy level.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to complete projects from concept to implementation, with flexibility and responsiveness to timelines.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to, and understanding of, the varied needs, ages, abilities, and backgrounds of the children and families we serve.
- Growth mindset with the ability to accept feedback and pursue personal and professional goals.
- Proactive, taking initiative and ownership of work and curiosity to learn.
