Description:

The part-time kitchen position at Somerset Assisted Living maintains cleanliness and sanitation standards for dinnerware, glassware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position ensures work areas are kept as clean, safe, and sanitary workspace. Complies with federal, state, and local standards for community operation. Incorporates Generations Mission, Vision, and Values into their daily work and interactions with others.

Schedule:

  • Full-time or Part-time until 7 pm
  • 8 Hour Shifts, doubles accepted
  • Weekend and holiday availability preferred

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a Caregiver is preferred, but not required.
  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide is a plus.
  • CPR/First Aid certification – training is available upon hire.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and patient
