Job Description
Fred Meyer is hiring a LOSS PREV/SERVICE COORD in Portland, OR. This is a full-time position.
Verify store level loss prevention systems are maintained by utilizing proper service in a timely or preventative manner. Provide technical support to all Fred Meyer stores and facilities to improve system availability and reduce maintenance expense. - Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent in Business, plus one year loss prevention experience; or combination of relevant education and experience
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Ability to pass drug test
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work weekends on an occasional basis and work any shift
- Maintain confidentiality
- Accuracy/attention to detail
- Ability to travel independently on a rare basis
- Ability organize/prioritize tasks/projects
- Familiarity with loss prevention terms and processes

- Valid driver's license

- Bosch Alarm programming and diagnostics experience
- Electronic Article Surveillance and Closed Circuit Television systems operation and diagnostics experience

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, FrameMaker 4.0, and Loss Prevention Management System (KLPMS)

- Process service requests from store locations, including trouble shooting via telephone to verify actual service needs
- Process, dispatch, and track daily service requests from stores and facilities including troubleshooting via telephone prior to dispatch
- Order, schedule, and communicate to store the expected fulfillment time for service needs
- Coordinate additional support (equipment and vendor support) to service when needed
- Manage parts depot and maintain proper re-use of used loss prevention equipment to reduce maintenance expense
- Verify that service is completed before payment of invoice
- Verify and approve maintenance contract payments
- Track service histories by location and vendor
- Purchase and distribute loss prevention equipment requests by location or on capital purchase
- Remotely program various loss prevention systems including alarm systems and digital video recorders and verify proper functionality
- Track maintenance expense and operational readiness and provide regular reports to management
- Manage vendor resources by geography and capability
