Description:
Assist management to achieve corporate financial goals through budget development and preparation, analytical processes, and expense analysis. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety. Minimum
- Bachelor's Degree business or accounting/finance
- 2+ years financial analyst experience; or combination of relevant education and experience
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to continue education, as necessary
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with accounting/finance technical terms and processes
- Ability to organize/prioritize variety of tasks/projects
- Accuracy/attention to detail
Desired
- Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures, and organizational structure
- Knowledge of Essbase Add-in and Essbase application manager
- Proficient with Microsoft Access or comparable database software- Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
- Assist with special projects and analysis, as assigned
- Develop and provide process tools and reports to help associates and management analyze and meet financial goals
- Analyze expenses and revenue, make adjustments, and prepare reports, as assigned
- Assist in financial model development
- Reconcile fixed assets to capital budgeting and general ledger
- Support Return On Investment (ROI) analysis and Capital Appropriation (CA) process
- Design, develop, and support Essbase applications and the Financial Desktop
- Support the Fred Meyer operating plan and budget process in assigned areas
- Administrate leases, sublets, and liability insurance responsibilities as assigned
- Maintain flexibility to work weekends and travel as needed
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
