Job Description and Responsibilities

EVRAZ North America is seeking a driven Sales and Service Manager to join our team in Portland, Oregon. The Sales and Service Manager is responsible for ensuring effective collaboration across departments to deliver high-quality customer service and operational efficiency. This role focuses on coordinating with various teams to meet customer needs, managing service-related issues, and maintaining detailed oversight of sales and service processes. Success in this position relies on a strong attention to detail, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to align resources to support customer satisfaction with commercial and operational goals.

  • Lead and support the inside sales team, setting goals, providing coaching, and driving performance
  • Collaborate with production, operations, and technical teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer service
  • Manage customer service processes, addressing issues, tracking inquiries, and coordinating with internal teams for resolution
  • Analyze data to support strategic decisions and enhance service delivery
  • Oversee accurate reporting on sales activities, customer interactions, and service metrics.
  • Support the credit department with managing customer accounts, credit lines, and collections
  • Ensure consistent communication and coordination between sales and other departments to align objectives
  • Investigate customer complaints/product performance and providing support to technical services regarding claims processing as necessary (view rejected material, offer recommendation for resolution)
  • Monitor sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Solid understanding of flat product specifications, applications, and capabilities
  • Valid motor vehicle operator' s license and a clean driving record
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM and sales management tools
