Job Description and Responsibilities
This position manages the overall scientific and technical aspects of the Plate R& D Program and acts as the key interface between R& D and the internal and external stakeholders. In this role, you will be responsible for Oregon Steel Mill’s new product development initiatives and will also work closely with the operations and technical services teams to develop and implement process solutions. You will also work with the commercial team to help retain existing business and develop new business opportunities through engaging with customers and providing technical leadership. This position reports to the Vice President, Research and Development, North America.
