Job Description:
Epiq is at the forefront of legal technology innovation, building the next generation of AI-driven solutions. This is a brand-new role—you’ll be the first dedicated QA and Support Engineer on our team, shaping quality standards and processes from the ground up. What You’ll Do
As an AI Support Engineer, you will ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of our software solutions. Your role combines quality assurance, technical support, and documentation to help deliver high-performing systems.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing and executing manual and automated test cases.
Reviewing code and contributing to automated testing frameworks.
Using SQL for data validation, automated testing, and troubleshooting.
Creating technical documentation for internal wikis and internal client teams.
Providing break-fix support and collaborating with developers to resolve issues quickly.
Enhancing, monitoring, logging, and alerting to proactively identify and address issues.
Driving QA best practices and helping define standards for future hires.
What We’re Looking For
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience).
Hands-on experience in software development or QA.
Familiarity with .NET or Python (especially for AI-related projects).
Strong SQL skills for testing and troubleshooting.
Understanding of testing methodologies (unit, integration, regression, UAT).
Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to create clear, detailed technical documentation.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of object-oriented programming (#, ASP.NET, etc.).
Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools.
SQL proficiency for automated testing and code review.

The Compensation range for this role is 85, 000 to 105, 000 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus.

Your specific salary will be determined based on several factors:
Location-based market rate for the role
Your abilities in relation to the job specification
Performance during screening and interview
Pay parity with the wider team in the considered location
