Schedule: Monday - Friday, flexible daytime hours

Pay Range: $32.00 - $36.00/hr. (DOE)

About the position:

As Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient inventory management, accurate order fulfillment, and safe handling of materials. The role includes coordinating staff, maintaining warehouse organization, supporting performance evaluations, ensuring safety compliance, and managing the flow of materials and shipments.

What You'll Do:
  • Coordinate daily activities of warehouse staff to ensure cleanliness, organization, inventory accuracy, and proper material placement.
  • Recommend and implement proactive strategies to reduce inventory costs and enhance productivity.
  • Direct and oversee cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Assemble shop order packets and accurately pick parts.
  • Manage the movement of materials from receiving and production to designated storage or work areas.
  • Supervise the proper placement of materials/items on racks, shelves, or bins.
  • Oversee the packing and shipping of parts to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Provide input to department supervisors to support employee performance evaluations.
  • Inspect material handling equipment for defects and coordinate repairs with maintenance or external service providers.
  • Maintain records of unfilled orders and backlogs.
  • Prepare bills of lading and other shipping documentation as needed.
  • Communicate written and verbal instructions to staff.
  • Operate forklifts and other lifting devices safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working habits; report any unsafe conditions or injuries to a supervisor immediately.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly supervise employees in the warehouse areas. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, and addressing work instruction complaints.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or four to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of MRP systems and transaction processing.
