Overview

Pharmacy Technician - EHR Specialist Tier 3

Position Highlights:

As an EHR Specialist-Tier 3, your primary responsibility is to manage and resolve intermediate-level support requests across various ePharmacy systems. You'll handle routine inquiries and troubleshoot common issues, while escalating more complex or technical matters to specialized teams for further analysis and resolution. Success in this role requires the ability to manage high call volumes and multiple inquiries simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of service quality. This role involves close collaboration with our ePharmacy and Client Care teams to communicate trends and address issues effectively.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot electronic health record (EHR) issues and provide guidance to pharmacy staff and customers on navigating the system
  • Maintain logs of reported issues and resolutions to ensure timely follow-up and prevent recurring problems
  • Assist in developing and delivering training materials for pharmacy staff on how systems integrate with pharmacy software
  • Ensure timely follow-up with customers and pharmacy staff after issues have been resolved
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Possess an active OR State Pharmacy Technician License
  • Previous background in keying orders
  • Strong computer skills to help provide technical support to other users
  • Knowledgeable in pharmacy systems (retail or closed-door pharmacy)
  • Excellent customer service skills
