Boise Cascade Company is hiring a HR Administrative Technician in Medford, OR. This is a full-time position.

Boise Cascade is seeking an HR Administrative Technician to support our Western Oregon Region Human Resources team in Medford.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities

This position provides general administrative support and customer service for the Human Resources department. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide friendly, professional service to employees and visitors by phone and at the front desk.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain HR documents and supplies.
  • Complete daily HR office opening and closing procedures.
  • Reconcile department credit card transactions.
  • Enter, review, and process employee data and changes.
  • Support recruiting activities and backup support including applicant screening, interview scheduling, and background checks.
  • Assist with onboarding and provide backup support for New Hire Orientation.
  • Participate in cross-training, development activities, and other assigned projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education & Experience

Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Two (2) years of general office experience is required; HR-related experience is preferred. Candidate must have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to operate a multi-line phone system and standard office equipment. Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. A successful candidate will be highly organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities independently, as well as a self-starter with a collaborative, team-oriented approach. Candidates with Bilingual Spanish skills preferred.
