This role requires strong interpersonal, leadership, problem solving and multi-tasking skills along with flexibility.
Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities - Manage the full project life cycle including project scope, requirements gathering, creation of project plans and schedules, obtaining and managing resources, managing budget, and facilitating project execution, deployment, and closure.
- Maintain project documentation including meeting minutes, action items, issues list, and risk management plans.
- Effectively communicate project status to all stakeholders.
- Manage and coordinate cross-functional meetings.
- Monitor the creation of all project deliverables.
- Maintain project documentation, plans, and reports.
- Ensures full compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations as well as professional standards, accepted business practices, and internal standards for the division or location of responsibility within Avamere.
- Reports any suspected compliance or ethics violations, whether believed to be intentional or non-intentional, the Compliance department for consultation or further investigation.
- Effectively communicates project status to all stakeholders.
- Demonstrates ability to listen, communicate effectively and clearly, and collaborate with many people.
- Demonstrates ability to lead projects and motivate others to complete them according to budgets, schedules and standards.
- Demonstrates the ability to solve problems and find solutions and resolve issues in a timely manner either collaboratively or on their own.
- Demonstrates the ability to juggle several projects at a time, often with conflicting schedules.
- Demonstrates ability to be flexible when issues arise that threaten project goals.
- Manages and coordinates cross-company and cross-functional teams.
- Validates which actions the organization considers exemplary, by demonstrating leadership principles in action.
- Maintains positive relationships and rapport with coworkers, facility personnel, internal and external clients, modeling respectful behavior by exhibiting professionalism with coworkers.
Requirements and Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Health Care or Business and 5 years of Health care management experience required.
- 3 years of project management experience.
- Experience with a project management software tool, Smartsheet is preferred
- Must possess the leadership disposition and passion to motivate and direct the management team as well as to interact professionally with the community and all levels of the organization.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Essential for interacting with staff, managers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills: Necessary for managing multiple schedules and tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Analytical and problem-solving skills: Needed to assess staffing needs, identify trends, and address issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team: The role requires both individual initiative and collaborative effort.
