Robust Benefits (After 60 Days): 100% Employer-Paid Employee Base Benefit Plan Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with Employer MatchPaid Time Off (Vacation, Sick Time, and Holidays) Position Overview As aRegional CDL Truck Driver for Alpine, you will drive and deliver chill and frozen products across your designated region (including OR, CA, WA, ID, UT, NV, AZ). You will act as an ambassador of customer service, managing your licensing, hours of service (ELD), and mandatory DOT regulations while on the road. Core Responsibilities Safely operate a semi-tractor/truck and pull trailers in various weather conditions while adhering to roadway laws and speed limits.Perform pre-trip inspections, monitor refrigerated trailer and load temperatures, and maintain all trip and load documentation.Deliver and pick up products in a timely manner while maintaining professional customer service standards.Maintain constant communication with the Transportation Supervisor and Compliance Coordinator, including timely submission of required driver and load documentation.Keep the tractor clean, sweep out trailers, and maintain a professional appearance while representing the company.Manage licensing, medical certifications, DOT compliance requirements, and hours-of-service regulations. What You Need to Succeed Maintain a Class A CDL with an acceptable MVR and PSP.Minimum of 1 year of recent, verifiable driving experience.Successful passage of Road TestAbility to drive safely in inclement weather with strong safety awareness at all times.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and safely use equipment such as pallet jacks; forklift experience preferred but not required.Ability to sit for long hours at a time, use hands, fingers, handle or feel; reach with both arms and hands, talk and hear.Valid DOT Medical Card/Certification and successful completion of a road test.Ability to pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen, physical agility test, medical examination, and criminal background check.Flexibility to manage changing schedules, long hours of sedentary driving, warehouse/loading dock environments, and frequent customer interactions.Strong communication, professionalism, patience, and customer service skills with a desire to contribute to a positive team culture and exceed customer expectations. Supervision: This position has no direct Supervisory responsibility.This position receives Supervision depending upon the assignment. In some cases, Supervisor outlines steps involved in completing assignments or standard procedures are available to enable the employee to work in a routine fashion. The end results of this work are sometimes checked.
