Construction Inspector III

Akana is seeking a Construction Inspector III to join our team for the Bull Run Project in Portland, OR Were committed to sustainable solutions and strong community ties, and were looking for someone who shares that vision. As a Construction Inspector, you will monitor on-site activities and materials to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and contract documents. You will perform field measurements, track contractor production, and prepare clear, accurate inspection reports while coordinating with contractors and other personnel. This role supports project quality, accuracy, and final documentation, reporting to both the Project Managers and Construction Managers. What You Will Do (general responsibilities) for this position are shown below: Compose Daily Inspection Reports. Aid in organizing tasks and responsibilities for field inspection personnel. Participate in the review and assessment of change order logs, requests for information (RFIs), and cost proposals. Track materials for contract compliance. Observe testing of field-related materials. Review Quality Control Plans. Monitor Field Testing throughout the project Provide mentorship and guidance as needed.
