Pay Range

OPSEU/VHA Pay Scale Level 6 — $30.64 - $37.31​ per hour


We are seeking:
Program Coordinator - Responsive Community Care (1-Year Contract)

The Responsive Community Care Program Coordinator will assist with the organization and implementation of Responsive Community Care (RCC) projects. Responsibilities include monitoring the progress and quality of work associated with project outcomes; budget, scheduling and performing other duties consistent with the job classification. The program coordinator will contribute to the efficient functioning of the Responsible Community Care portfolio with close direction received from RCC Manager(s).


Key Areas of Accountability

  • Develop and implement strategies to facilitate the execution of multiple, simultaneous projects in an effective manner.
  • Provide project coordination support, program data collation/tracking, and assisting with the development and execution of proposals and new opportunities.
  • Participate in outreach initiatives to bring awareness to community support programs and bring exposure of community support to our partners.
  • Perform all intake functions: receive, assess, and process all requests for service from potential clients and referral sources, provide referral and information regarding the criteria for service, the range of services offered and referral services to other community services.

Required Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Community Social Services and Community Health Care Administration.
  • 3 to 5 years of work experience with a community non-profit organization.
  • 2 – 3 years of project management/delivery experience and expertise using Excel, Outlook, and Publisher.
  • Knowledge of community health/mental health sector and marginalized and diverse populations an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Experience supporting funding proposals and reports an asset.
  • Strong ability to source/research relevant information and apply critical thinking related to RCC projects and new opportunities.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of community intake calls and inquiries utilizing a solution focused approach.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and activities and highly proficient in setting and communicating priorities and timelines.
