Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity
Required to support of Commercialization recommendation approval to have a focused Commercialization/Product Delivery COE within Product Operations (Shared Services).
Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.
Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Director, Product Shared Services.
Your Moneris Career - What you'll do
Accountability for the end-to-end product launch strategy and execution within the product lifecycle beginning from product ideation and following through to product delivery, deployment and first transaction. Deliver increments of value with release planning and roadmaps. Deliver end-to-end execution on budget, within defined scope, to ensure the achievement of defined benefits and Objective & Key Result (OKR) success metrics
Engage with business groups and partners and understand challenges; work collaboratively to ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported, and resolved promptly.
Contribute to the formulation product strategy with Product Strategy and Product Owner.
Contribute to market intelligence analysis and understand the customers’ needs and competitive landscape to support a successful end-to-end execution into market
Support the need for feedback loop to inspect and adapt the product launch strategy through frequent increments, without scope creep and with planning.
Well experienced in the end-to-end product execution domain, leads end-to-end product execution on small to medium sized products/solutions or features. Support provided on complex products require guidance their leader.
Orchestrate and build an end-to-end process of bringing a new product, features etc. to market.
Understand all elements of the product life cycle including requirements, testing (Tech trial/pilot, UAT), introducing new features and functionality, responsible for managing the commercialization process from concept to launch, ensuring successful delivery.
Guide with a high level of transparency and communication through proactive interactions with the product team. Fosters collaborative relationships with internal partners to ensure the success of the Product launch strategy.
Through demonstrated people leadership, creates a team environment that promotes high performance and achieves a high degree of client satisfaction. Role model's servant leadership by helping to remove impediments to accelerate teams.
Your Moneris Career - What you bring
Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent work experience
Minimum 4 years experience working in a product marketing, product strategy, product management or SaaS project management
4 years experience using Jira, Confluence and Visio
Knowledge of agile methodologies and best practices/use applicable tools and processes.
Experience in strategic planning, project lifecycle management, portfolio management, compliance, and change management
Proficient in leading product roadmaps and requirements gathering and communicating progress/approach with peers, clients and leaders.
Knowledge and application of both theoretical and practical aspects of product management, including several product management tools and techniques
Effectively work in teams across the organization with multiple partners and to influence and align others
Experience in payment systems and the merchant acquiring business is an asset
