Job Title: Air Export Supervisor

As the Air Freight Exports Team Leader at DHL Global Forwarding, you will oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the Air Freight Exports team. You will ensure the timely and efficient processing of export shipments while maintaining the highest levels of customer service and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of air freight operations, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Main tasks & Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Air Freight Exports team, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies related to air freight exports, including customs regulations and safety standards.
• Oversee the planning and execution of air freight export shipments, ensuring timely departures and arrivals.
• Collaborate with the AFR Manager to develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports on team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding air freight export operations.
• Address and resolve any operational issues or customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain strong relationships with airline partners, customs brokers, and other service providers to ensure seamless operations.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, share best practices, and promote a culture of safety and compliance.

Minimum Requirements (Education, experience and skills):

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of air freight export regulations, customs procedures, and industry best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with logistics management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary Range: $75, 000 – $85, 000 CAD

This range reflects the expected base pay for this position and may vary based on skills, experience, and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual bonus. Bonus amounts are not included in the salary range listed above.
