About the Role We are seeking a Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of end-to-end technology solutions across the full lifecycle, from discovery and planning through implementation and operational support.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and senior architects to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with business objectives. This role is ideal for someone who can independently own solution architecture for projects or products while contributing to larger strategic initiatives.
What a Typical Week Looks Like - Lead solution architecture design across business, application, data, and technology domains
- Facilitate discovery workshops and translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Develop architecture artifacts (requirements, architecture, design documents)
- Define integration, API, and data architecture approaches
- Produce estimates, assumptions, and delivery plans for solutions
- Guide delivery teams to ensure alignment with architecture and best practices
- Support RFP/RFI responses and contribute to solution proposals
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and non-functional requirements
- Define operational models, including monitoring, SLAs/SLOs, and support processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business, development, security, and operations
- Design, develop, and implement Cloud based solutions
What You Bring - Degree or diploma from an accredited university or college in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related IT discipline
- 5+ years of experience in IT, including architecture or senior technical roles
- Proven experience designing and delivering end-to-end technology solutions
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS)
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
- Combination of education and experience will be considered
Knowledge Skills and Abilities A Strong Understanding Of: - Solution architecture across business, application, data, and technology layers
- IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and Cloud technologies
- API and integration patterns (REST, messaging, event-driven)
- Identity and access management (e.g., OAuth2, SSO, OpenID Connect)
- Data architecture concepts (relational and NoSQL databases)
Familiarity With: - Azure and/or AWS Well-Architected Framework
- DevOps practices (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code)
- Security best practices (e.g., OWASP, Zero Trust principles)
Ability To: - Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Match requirements with existing capabilities and identify gaps
- Produce clear architecture documentation and diagrams
- Estimate effort, identify risks, and manage dependencies
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrate innovative thinking
- Demonstrate engagement in continuous learning
- Apply new learnings to solve problems
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
- Proven ability to mentor and influence teams without direct authority
