This position reports into Senior Supervisor Quality Laboratory and is based at Guelph, Ontario, Canada.

Role reports to: Senior Supervisor Quality Laboratory
Location: Guelph, Ontario, Canada
Pay: Anticipated weekly pay rate of ($775 - $915) depending on skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors

What you will do

The Student Quality Lab Technician is responsible for supporting the testing of raw materials, in-process and finished products, and GMP duties including solution preparation and glassware washing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support laboratory testing programs by prioritizing and preparing reagents and solutions

• Responsible for the maintenance of laboratory glassware and operation of glassware dishwasher

• Complete housekeeping and GMP support tasks ensuring compliance with all procedures

• Assist in conducting quality control tests on various products in the lab

• Maintain accurate records of all testing procedures and results

• Participate in continuous improvement projects

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• An active student currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program (undergraduate)

• Pursuing a degree in a science or engineering program

• Eligible to complete an 8-12-month co-op term at Guelph, Ontario, Canada

• Ability to work during the duration of the assignment. The program will be active from Monday-Friday starting in August

• 0-2 years of related experience in a laboratory setting from academic coursework

• Proven ability to work independently without continuous feedback

• Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and equipment

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions

Desired Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently

• Basic understanding of quality control principles and laboratory procedures (USP, GMP, GDP)

• Strong digital literacy
