Your Job

Georgia-Pacific is hiring up to four (4) post-secondary students for summer employment at our Oriented Strand Board (OSB) manufacturing facility in Englehart, Ontario.

Work Term: June 8 - August 28

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour day shifts

Wage: $22.50/hour

This is a great opportunity for students looking to gain hands-on work experience during the school break. As part of our team, you'll help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment that supports daily operations.

What You Will Do In Your Role
  • Participate in safety orientation and follow all safety rules
  • Perform general housekeeping and cleaning duties throughout the facility
  • Paint walls, floors, railings, guards, lockers, and barriers
  • Support 5S organization activities
  • Work with team members and supervisors to maintain a safe workplace
  • Complete other assigned duties as needed


Work Environment
  • Manufacturing mill environment with noise, dust, and varying temperatures
  • Required personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided or reimbursed (as per local policy).


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • High school graduate who is currently enrolled in post-secondary program in the fall or currently a post-secondary student returning to a program in the fall.
  • Able to work full-time until the end of the work term.
