Your JobGeorgia-Pacific is looking for safety-oriented and energetic team members to join our team at our Englehart, Ontario facility. As part of our production team, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process. This is an entry level position with the expectation and opportunity for career growth. You will begin on a Monday to Friday eight (8) hour shift schedule but will transition to a rotating twelve (12) hour 2-2-3 shift schedule which includes nights and weekends, with increased compensation.
Our TeamOur Georgia-Pacific, Englehart team will be having a hiring event on February 27th. This event will
not be held onsite at our facility, therefore, walk-ins will not be taken. Qualified applicants will be screened and contacted to be scheduled for an event day interview.

Our competitive compensation package includes a starting wage of $30.04/hour, shift differentials, a quarterly bonus plan, medical/dental/vision, pension, overtime opportunities and paid time off.
What You Will Do In Your Role- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues
- Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and facility, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace
- Operate Machinery: Safely operate and monitor various production machines and mobile equipment according to standard operating procedures
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and report any discrepancies immediately
- Material Handling: Assist in the loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products, ensuring proper storage and documentation
- Process Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and reduce waste
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals and address any issues that arise
Work Environment- This role involves working in a mill setting with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn as required
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)- High school diploma or recognized equivalent
What Will Put You Ahead- One (1) year or more of experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience working in a 24/7 shift work environment
- Experience operating a forklift
