If you are a bilingual (English & French) technical sales professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Inside Technical Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving sales and fostering strong relationships with both new and existing customers. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge and exceptional sales skills to effectively communicate the value of our products and services. As an Inside Technical Sales Representative you will provide inside technical support by responding to and processing customer requests. You will develop a deep understanding of the customers' key goals and how Emerson can provide solutions to help meet them.

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Proactively engage with potential and existing customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings to identify their technical needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our product portfolio and stay informed about industry trends and technologies.
  • Generate new business opportunities through lead follow-up, cold calling, and targeted outreach.
  • Provide accurate quotations, product troubleshooting and competitor crossovers based on customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with the outside sales, customer service, marketing and operations teams to address customer inquiries and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline management in our CRM system.
  • Provide regular feedback and insights to the outside sales team to help refine sales strategies and improve customer experience.
  • Work within our CRM, Sales Force to resolve customer and inter-company submitted inquires.
  • Keep files & quotes current and organized.
  • Back up other team members as needed.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • Diploma degree in any relevant field
  • Proven experience in customer service or a similar sales role, preferably within the Industrial or Factory automation sector.
  • Strong understanding and ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills in both English and French language.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience using Salesforce CRM
