Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services of Ottawa is hiring a Snow Removal Equipment Operator in Ottawa, ON. This is a full-time position.

About the Role Reporting to the Area Supervisor and Snow Operations Managers, the Snow Removal Operator will be responsible to operate heavy equipment to lift, push, and move snow to certain areas or into trucks for removal. This position requires the successful applicant to work on an on-call basis with irregular hours between mid-November and the end of March each year. Applicants must be available and committed to work with very short notice at all times of the day and night using a variety of tools and equipment listed below. *All candidates seeking an equipment operator position must demonstrate competency at time of interview and supply records and/or references in relation to equipment operation, as requested. What Youll Do Operate Equipment Safely: Use new model front-end loaders, tractors, telehandlers, and other equipment to remove snow efficiently and with care.Stay Ready: Be available on-call 24/7 during snow and ice events to respond promptly and keep sites safe for everyone.Follow Routes and Procedures: Use company software to follow site maps, record work, and communicate any issues clearly.Take Care of Your Equipment: Complete daily checks, handle machinery with care, and report any concerns right away.Work as a Team: Communicate with supervisors and teammates to ensure safe, effective service every time. What Were Looking For Experience: Minimum 2 years operating heavy equipment, with at least 1 year in snow removal preferred.Education: High school diploma (or equivalent) and valid licenses as needed.Skills & Attitude: Reliable, safety-focused, adaptable, and ready to solve problems on the job.Commitment: We count on you to show up on time, do what you say youll do, and take pride in the quality of your work.Team Player: Professional and respectful with clients, co-workers, and the public.
