Description:
About the Role We're looking for a commercially driven Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of strategic customer accounts across U.S. land operations. This role links sales, operations, and strategy, focused on expanding share, strengthening customer relationships, and identifying creative ways to deliver value across drilling, completions, and production product lines.
This is not a maintenance role. It's for someone who sees whitespace, connects dots across product lines, and knows how to turn relationships into revenue.
Key Responsibilities - Own and execute account growth plans for a defined portfolio of customers
- Identify and capture opportunities to increase share across multiple product lines
- Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders across technical, operational, and commercial teams
- Partner with internal operations teams to ensure consistent execution and service quality
- Develop and present commercial proposals
- Analyze account performance using revenue, cost, and margin data to drive decision-making
- Track market activity (rig count, completions, artificial lift trends) to anticipate demand shifts
- Collaborate cross-functionally to bring forward innovative, value-driven solutions
What Success Looks Like - Measurable growth in revenue and share within assigned accounts
- Increased penetration across underdeveloped or whitespace opportunities
- Strong customer retention and satisfaction
- Effective alignment between commercial strategy and operational execution
- Ability to influence without direct authority across internal teams
Qualifications - 8+ years of experience in oilfield services and 4+ years of sales experience
- Proven track record of managing and growing customer accounts
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret financial and operational data
- Experience working across multiple product lines or service offerings
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-starter who is comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment
Preferred Experience - Exposure to drilling, completions and production services
- Experience with large operators
