Position Description:
The Technology Strategist role spans the boundaries between OU Information Technology and the customer. Technology Strategists are part of an agile team reporting to a Senior Technology Strategist and hold primary responsibility for delivering IT services, managing administrative/academic relationships, and crafting technology strategies for their customers. They cultivate a deep understanding of their customers’ unique missions, cultures, goals and needs, as well as advise on appropriate technology solutions, strategies, services and resources. These exciting positions will support Senior Technology Strategists and OU IT Leadership in shaping and delivering the future of technology services at the University of Oklahoma, which will include the One University digital initiative, cutting edge learning technologies, data management, Shared Services, analytics, cloud services, community experience, and more. Applicants should have a unique blend of technology knowledge, communication skills, and business acumen to succeed in this highly visible position.
This Technology Strategist role will be dedicated to the College of Education (COE) and will serve as a member of the Mission Support team by playing a pivotal role in supporting the College.
