Description:

Senior Program Coordinators for the Suicide Prevention Resource Center (SPRC) will work with the SPRC Community Initiatives Team and/or the SPRC Health Care Initiatives Team to supports the organization and coordination of TTA projects and activities under the Initiative Team's work plan. This role ensures the smooth operation of program activities, accurate project tracking, effective communication with internal and external partners, and alignment with the SPRC’s mission to reduce suicide and promote effective prevention through training, technical assistance, and resource development.

Duties include:

  • Oversees the administrative processes of a designated SPRC Initiative
  • Responsible for daily program operations for a particular SPRC Initiative, including consultant coordination, program tracking and reporting, and supporting planning for Initiative training and technical assistance activities.
  • Collects and analyzes data on project activities and milestones and prepares reports.
  • Ensures compliance with SPRC processes and procedures.
  • Plans and coordinates training and technical assistance events.
  • Develops and administers timelines and ensures availability of resources for assigned projects and programs.
  • Plans and oversees project coordination and communication.
  • Develops Initiative-specific planning procedures.
  • Performs related duties as assigned or as required to successfully fulfill functions of the
    position.

Educational requirements:

  • high school

Desired Skills:

Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree, AND:

  • 48 months of related experience.

Equivalent/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree to equal 96 months of related experience.

Skills:

  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Able to effectively evaluate project progress and produce comprehensive reports
  • Able to supervise consultants and communicate directions and expectations effectively
  • Must be able to read and interpret policy as well as State and Federal regulations

Departmental Preferences:

  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral health, public health, communications, adult education, social sciences, or related field and at least 48 months coordinating a training, community education, behavioral health, workforce development, community coalition, or public health improvement project.

Supervision: may supervise consultants
