Description:

Duties:

  • Coordinates all activities related to the project(s).
  • Interfaces and serves as liaison with Campus, College, and Department administrations to accomplish project(s) outcomes.
  • Writes and proofreads messaging for print and digital publications, to include but not limited to website content, new and feature articles, blogs, social media posts

  • Writes original content by creatively compiling information collected through research, interviewing, and gathering materials from the requested party.

  • Ensures the messaging is accurate, clear, and fits within branding guidelines.
  • Conduct interviews, collect data, and information needed to accurately and credibly craft messages.
  • Works with requesting parties to ensure understanding project needs and gather a sense of the target audience.
  • Attends meetings and workgroup sessions
  • Performs related duties as assigned or as required to successfully fulfill functions of the position

Educational requirements:

  • high school

Desired Skills:

Required Education: Bachelor's degree, AND:

  • 24 months of project management or related experience.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in copy writing, editing, proofreading and composition.
  • Knowledge of different media sites and sources.
  • Ability to be organized and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Interpersonal skills.

Certifications: None

Working Conditions:

  • Communicate effectively.

  • Sit for prolonged periods

  • Frequent keyboarding.
  • Ability to engage in repetitive motions.
  • Requires Contact with other departments
  • Highly organized
