Description:
The IT Learning Spaces team seeks an experienced Instructional Technologist to support the College of Nursing. The position fundamentally serves as the college’s Canvas administrator, support for Simple Syllabus, and data entry for class schedules in the student information system, PeopleSoft. The position also supports Respondus LockDown Browser, Top Hat student engagement platform, and other instructional technology applications utilized by the college. The role works closely with College of Nursing Academic Affairs and is one of the primary contacts for academic technology software support for faculty, support staff, and students in the college.
The position is tasked with delivering excellent customer service through troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to academic technology (it does not focus on development of course content). Additionally, it involves assisting in the development and delivery of support documentation and training to help alleviate challenges utilizing the technology. Through consistent collaboration with application owners, system administrators, and IT Services, the role ensures optimal end-user experiences.
The ideal candidate for this position would be self-motivated, lifelong learner, and persistent with experience in troubleshooting and IT service management practices.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 60 months of related experience.
