Join the Center for Public Management (OU CPM) at the University of Oklahoma and be part of a team dedicated to making a daily impact in the lives of Oklahomans. Located within the College of Continuing Education, OU CPM specializes in providing training, research, and consulting to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of public sector agencies, staff, and community partners. This position assists with curriculum development and design of training materials. Researches course design and methodologies. Assists in preparing content for courses, conferences, and other events.

  • Researches and assists/revises curriculum development and design

  • Assists customers in promotional materials, design of courses, program content, and methodologies

  • Tracks curricula in all steps of development, revision, release, and promotion

  • Attends and supports all cases with the SME partner's functional areas, including Academy and any large learning events, and, by taking the core and functional certification assessments

  • Continuous review for all functional areas to help ensure the quality of learning in CSS (curricula, Quest, CE, InfoNet, DHS website, etc.)

Desired Skills:

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or related field.

Required Experience: None.

Equivalency Substitution: Will accept 48 months related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree.

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to format and edit
  • Computer and research skills
  • Ability to perform highly detailed work
